Private specialist care and surgery
In our Healthcare Insurance with Personal Private Doctor product, we offer private specialist care from over 1250 clinics in Sweden. In addition, we have the opportunity to refer to surgery at all Nordic private hospitals within the framework of the insurance. Often with very short waiting times.
Many people feel that the waiting times for general care are too long but lack access to private care through health insurance. For those who can consider paying privately, we open up the same care as in our Health Insurance with a personal private doctor but with payment per procedure.
First, our doctor begins by documenting the medical situation and supplementing it with further medical examinations if necessary. Then, if possible, the customer is referred to a general practitioner with reasonable waiting time and access, usually in a region other than where the customer lives.
If it is not possible to find suitable public health care, the client is referred to private specialist care for further action and then to private surgery if necessary. As we offer private care from many clinics across Sweden, it is often possible to find solutions close to the customer.
